This Chenin Blanc hails from the tiny Merritt Island appellation in Clarksburg, which has been farmed by the Wilson family since 1921. This organically farmed block used to get lost in mass-produced wines, but recently has been sought out by small producers focused on raising the bar for California Chenin Blanc. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral French oak, it offers aromas of Asian pear, citrus peel, jasmine, and sweet spice.
