About the Wine
Monterey County offers warm days and cool nights, as fog from the Pacific Ocean is funneled in via wind from the bay. This cooler climate is excellent for our Chardonnay, bringing delicious flavor with a healthy acid profile. The winemaking techniques listed below, in conjunction with outstanding fruit, helped bring this rich, flavorful Chardonnay together.
Monterey County delivers a classic Chardonnay with a toasty finish. The Slow Press winemaking process magnifies fruit aromas and delivers notes of fresh apple, lemon, and pear. Slow Press Chardonnay is aged in American oak barrels for 9 months to develop a full-bodied, creamy mouthfeel.
Pair with fish tacos with avocado mango salsa, mushroom risotto or chicken pesto pasta.
