To the eye, the wine is a deep ruby with noticeable sparkles. On the nose, small red fruits dominate, particularly raspberries and sour cherries. On the palate, the concentration of this premier cru is evident from the first sip. It is full bodied but possesses the silky tannins for which the appellation is known. A long persistence comes from the subtle minerality which supports the wine and gives it a remarkable complexity.
