La Croquante is the entry point into Jonathan’s range. An assemblage of 40 to 60 year old vines planted on the sandy, pink granite inflected soils of Brouilly, La Croquante ("crunchy") spends eight months in old foudre before bottling with a small sulfur addition. Brimming with red fruit and spice, this cuvée is focused on freshness, with a juicy glou glou style that is quite irresistible.
