There is elderflower and apricot in this village-wine, with a mid-palate jab of subtle mineral, into an endless tactile finish of stones and apricot blossom; a sophisticated Riesling with striking persistence, yet it’s indirect the way Dönnhoff’s Dellchen sometimes is. Hiedler’s Rieslings hold the other end of this string also.
