In the cooler, sunny areas of Appiano and Caldaro, Pinot Noir develops its full potential by generating a structured and elegant wine, surprisingly similar to Burgundian models. This particular Pinot is grown in gravel soils, harvested by hand and aged in large oak barrels for one year. The mouthfeel is silky, aromas of raspberry and blackberry with a hint of spice.
It is ideal with mutton and kid, veal liver, stewed roasts and aged cheeses.
