The 2017 Brothers shows more depth of character every year. Its brooding aromas of sandalwood, dried tobacco, black currant, and blackberries draw you in. The wine is deep and textured on the palate, with savory, meaty body mingling with plumy cherry. Lingering, long and full, it finishes with lightly dry tannins, which compel for more. As a winemaker, I'm often asked the impossible question, "which wine is your favorite?"... a question I will ponder as I finish this glass ...
