Our 2013 Grigsby Vineyard Merlot is once again our most elegant, restrianed, exquisitely polished wine of the vintage. It is an expression whose beauty lies in refinement and subtle sophisticaiton rather than power and concentration. There's a seductive spiciness to the fresh raspberry and red currant aromas, and fascinating complexity that brings together nuances of milk chocolate and mocha, oak spice, voneyard dust, crushed gravel and the slightest hint of craked black pepper.
