This gorgeous Zinfandel hails from the incredible Black Sears Vineyard – found (quite literally if you’ve got a decent arm) a stone’s throw from their estate vineyard gate at the top of Howell Mountain. The highest vineyard on the mountain at 2400’, winemakers around the valley clamor for Zinfandel from this dry-farmed biodynamic, organic vineyard.
No pansy in the glass, this Zinfandel stands up to boldflavors. Try it with spicy Italian sausage wood-fired pizza, juicy BBQ burgers or pulled pork sandwiches.
