The Suisun Valley, located just east of Napa, has long been a home for Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Planted in 1998, this vineyard has been farmed organically for the last several years. We hand harvested the fruit and then did a quick foot crush before pressing. The wine was fermented in a combination of concrete tank and egg, then transferred to old wood barrels for 4 months. We then racked to stainless tank and bottled shortly after.
