A deep ruby red color with aromas of dark cherry, baked plum and cassis while lifted and full of bright fruit aromas; followed by toasted oak spices, dark chocolate/cacao and sage flower to bay laurel in the background. The palate is juicy round and enticing showing a focus mid palate and polished tannins, while finishing wtih fruit cake and licorice notes.
