The vines utilized in this bottling of Riesling are known as 'Alte Reben' means “Old Vines” in German and these range between ages of 30 and 80 from the Abstberg and Herrenberg vineyards. The grapes are harvested manually and after harvest the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in old Fuder casks. The idea behind this bottling is to provide of GG styled riesling, without the GG price.
