The wine is a dark but golden amber color. On the nose, this passito offers aromas of roasted coffee, golden peach, fig and date. A slight oxidative note from the long barrel aging presents as hazelnut, and lovers of Marsala and Sauternes alike will be captivated by this wine. On the palate, there is a fresh saltiness harmonized by bright acidity and pure golden fruit. This wine contains about 200 g/L of residual sugar, comparable to a 6 puttonyos Tokaj.
