It is easy to be seduced by the bright hues and youthful nature of The Flyer – rose petals, earth tones and a hint of sandalwood lead the aromas on this Sonoma Coast blend. There is a ton of complexity about this wine. It is rich and dense upon entry as delicious layers of black, brambly fruit – notably dried black cherries and blackberries – play on the palate and are supported by pleasant acidity and silky tannins. A hint of roasted vanilla bean shows through, leaving a lovely impression on the lengthy and persistent finish.
