Before Philippe le Hardi introduced Pinot Noir in Burgundy, many grape varieties existed, especially the “Gol” which will eventually gave the name to this hillside to Savigny. Vines here are 30 years old and this wine always has powerful tannins, which make it one that we like to enjoy with richer cuts of red meat.
