The 2015 vintage started with very frosty spring weather followed by a “March miracle” rain event which saved the vines from the drought. The wet weather helped produce lots of small berries which resulted in lower yields, but allowed for great grape structure and more flavor concentration. This helped produce a Pinot Noir that is intense and complex with deep aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, plum, spice and earthy notes. On the palate, it is rich and powerful capturing an elegant style while offering tiers of dark berry flavors and soft tannins.
