About the Wine

The aroma of the Foppiano 2017 Zinfandel centers on red raspberry and cinnamon spice. Hints of sliced ripe plum, black tea and lavender oils add to its complexity. Flavors of blueberry, elderberry, and cranberry are enhanced with sandalwood and baking notes from the oak barrels. These flavors marry with soft tannins for a long and satisfying finish which leads to a balanced wine with natural acidity and soft tannins.

A very food-friendly wine, great to pair with a variety of dishes including any meat-heavy meals, BBQ pork, pastas, aged cheddar/gouda or asiago cheese.

Blend: 93% Zinfandel, 7% Petite Sirah
