The beautiful dark ruby color makes one think this is a rich wine. The nose confirms this, as greedy blackfruit and spice aromas are discovered, backed up by woody and smoky notes. On the palate, this wine proves to be powerful, with quite present, well blended tannins. As on the nose, we find nice woody notes from being raised in oak. The beautiful structure and big rich aromas of this Pommard are the proof of good cellaring potential.
