Those who appreciate a relatively muscular, textural Pinot will love the weight and depth of this vintage. Boldly fruited with dark berries, black plum and cherry all winding around a core of juicy framboise and gentle sweet spice. Fifteen months in 62% new French oak provides subtle background notes of grilled bread, vanilla and smooth caramel. A rich wine, no doubt, but with plenty of integrated tannin and acid structure to make it cellar worthy as well.
