A dark ruby-red color with aromas of red cherry, bay laurel, red pepper corn, baked cassis and cranberry followed by violet floral, earthy bark, sassafras-molasses notes with toasted oak spice and sandalwood. The palate is soft and plush yet offers good acidity tightening the palate. Flavors of red cherry and cassis with brown sugar and molasses on the finish.
