Antica Formula is the #1 ultra-premium vermouth and has a 234-year legacy that dates back to the creation of the first vermouth. Antica Formula is based off the original recipe crafted by Antonio Benedetto Carpano in 1786 in Turin, Italy. History notes that the inventing of modern "vermouth" was traced to Carpano, who labored for years in his workshop blending, muddling, macerating and steeping various combinations of herbs until he ?nally found the formula that satis?ed him and his loyal customers.

The nose has a strong bouquet of vanilla with spice, citrus and subtle notes of almonds, raisins and cloves. The palate is well rounded with a rich vanilla taste. The finish has bitter orange and date notes with a subtle hint of cocoa beans and saffron.
