Deep dark red with purple hues. The nose has real depth, almost brooding, dark plums and blackberry perfectly integrated with the more elegant characters of black pepper and aniseed, a hint of spicy oak sitting in the background. This wine is full bodied with mouth filling plum and mulberry fruit yet the palate is beautifully structured with layers of fine tannin and complementary characters of licorice ironstone and cocoa.
