This is a lush and decadent wine. It presents in the glass as dark inky purple. The nose is full with Creme de Cassis, Licorice and touches of Oak. On the palate, this highly extracted, complex beauty roars with ripe black current, blackberry and hints of cacao. The soft tannins offer structure with elegance and balance. This is drinking really well right now but has the backbone to age for 15-20 years when properly cellared.
