The foundation of this Signature Mountain Red Blen is sourced form the winery's Rockwell Ridge Estate Vineyard on the slopes of Howell Mountain. On this steep, rugged terrain overlooking the Napa Valley, these mature 23-year old vines grow in thin, tuffaceous, volcanic soil, expressing richness, complexity, and character from this unique terroir. By sourcing classic varietals from premium vineyards, they have blended them in a traditional Right Bank Bordeaux-style approach and created a concentrated, structured, and balanced blend which satisfies the senses with its purity, depth and finesse.
