There are two parcels for this special cuvee Hommage à Jean Ferté. Les Peuillets is a plot planted in 1993 that covers 0.29 ha. The plot is the result of a massal selection from the plot Beaune 1er Cru Grèves. The vine rests on a red soil with an average depth and thin pebbles. Les hauts Jarrons is south-east faced and benefits from the sunshine all day long and the Foehn effect (dry wind descending from the mountains). This plot of 47 ares was planted at two different times (in 1962 and in 1975). It rests on a sandy and clay-limestone terroir with thin pebbles. This vine results from a massal selection and produces small-sized grapes with great maturity.
