Clos du Val Vineyard George III Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 is a full flavored, full-bodied Cabernet made from grapes from the Beckstoffer Vineyards in Rutherford. Deep garnet in color, this wine displays a lovely varietal nose surrounded by subtle notes of bell and black pepper. A concentrated, rich entry of ripe blackberry and blueberry flavors builds up volume, giving way for the ripe Rutherford tannins to explode in the mid-palate and linger throughout the lengthy finish.
